Amber Rose is moving on. The model, 30, stepped out without her wedding ring on Tuesday, Sept. 23, the same day that she filed for divorce from her husband Wiz Khalifa.
Rose went for a stroll in Beverly Hills sans ring, wearing a tight all-black outfit to run errands. After taking a step toward the end of her marriage, she stopped at the high-end lingerie boutique Wolford, picking up a bagful of unmentionables.
News of the impending divorce broke on Wednesday, Sept. 24. "They have had issues from the moment they met… massive, blowout fights," a source close to Rose tells Us Weekly. "They do love each other but this is what happens when two young people fall in love and get married and have a baby too quickly."
Insiders add that the rapper, 27, and his now-estranged wife got into fights about Rose's career and priorities. "He was jealous of her fame in the beginning and tried to keep her down," the source adds. "She turned down deal after deal for him… She passed on everything to make him happy and just be his wife."
The couple tied the knot in July 2013 after getting engaged in March 2012. They welcomed their one child, son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, in February 2013.
While Khalifa has yet to comment on the news of the split, Rose took to Twitter on Thursday, Sept. 25, to confirm the divorce filing and clear up some rumors.
"Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this…" she tweeted. "Unfortunately my now ex husband can't say the same… I'm devastated and crushed but my main focus is Sebastian. Thank u for all the support in this difficult time."
